I have been taking photos since my elementary school days; always carrying a camera around and documenting memories to savor later in life. I attended Edinboro University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Education but quickly realized my passion for creating beautiful imagery from everyday scenery. Especially my gorgeous family and our daily lives.

For the past few years I have been working in dual roles as both Publishing Coordinator and Photographer for the Erie Reader, as well as the Imagery Management and Photographer for Epic Web Studios. At the Reader, you’ll find me all around the NWPA region snapping photos of people, places, and things from all walks of life. At Epic, I lend my eye to any clients in-need of a new strategy, a fresh look, a new product shoot or a re-branded image.

I have always been a creative at heart. Taking photos has long been a passion of mine. If I’m not photographing food, nature, or animals, I’m making my friends and family stand in sunflower fields or in front of brick walls!

I found myself falling in love with portraits and lifestyle sessions. I want to capture the essence of the individual without words. It is one thing to take a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another to make a portrait of who they are. Sensitivity is one of my superpowers and I love to capture the mood as it is: candid, imperfect, real, and fleeting. Follow along with me as I take on this journey through my creativity.

XO,

Jess
